SUSTAINABLE EXCELLENCE: OUR ETHICAL SUPPLY CHAIN BETWEEN INNOVATION AND TRADITION

Our Philosophy: Small Steps, Great Values

In a constantly evolving global context, the spirits sector is also undergoing a significant transformation. Our company, although artisanal in size, possesses a clear and ambitious vision: to actively guide the change towards more conscious, ethical, and sustainable consumption. For us, every bottle contains a narrative of respect - for the territory, for people, for the future.

Drink Well, Do Good: Our Manifesto

  • Drinking as a cultural act: We promote the act of drinking as a sensory and cultural experience to be lived with full awareness, elevating it beyond mere consumption.
  • Quality above all else: The pursuit of quality represents the guiding principle of our work, a daily commitment translated into research, passion, and methodological rigor.
  • Concrete sustainability: Responsibility towards the planet and the community constitutes the indispensable foundation of our corporate philosophy.

Our Green Commitment: Actions, not Words

The Clean Energy That Powers Us

Our energy transition journey is concretely underway. We have selected Enel Energia to supply our operations with 100% renewable electricity, certified through the system of Guarantees of Origin from the GSE. Hydropower, wind, solar, and geothermal sources are the only components of our energy mix. The adoption of the "100% green" label is not a mere image choice, but a commitment to creating a system and actively contributing to a more sustainable energy model.

Sustainable Bottles: A Conscious Choice from Supply to Production

The sustainability of our bottles is a fundamental part of our environmental responsibility. For this reason, we turn to an Italian excellence and pioneer in the production of sustainable glass, which shares our vision of an industry respectful of the environment.

Our supplier embodies the commitment to innovation and circularity through concrete and certified investments:

Oxy Fuel Technology: Italian Primacy in Efficiency

The glassworks was the first company in Italy to adopt Oxy Fuel technology. This advanced technique uses pure oxygen, instead of simple air, in the combustion for glass melting. The result is a dual advantage: a significant improvement in furnace efficiency and a notable reduction in fume emissions into the atmosphere.

Applied Circular Economy: Up to 90% Recycled Glass

Thanks to the use of a percentage of recycled material reaching 90% for the production of specific lines, the glassworks consistently ranks at the top among the most virtuous companies nationally and in Europe for recycling performance in the glass sector.

Responsible Management and Social Impact

  • District Heating: Through a district heating plant, excess thermal energy from the production cycle is recovered and used to heat approximately 2,000 families in the areas of Milan and Sesto San Giovanni.
  • Total Water Recovery: The company has installed closed-circuit plants designed to fully reuse process water. Water consumption is therefore limited to civil use only and to replenishing evaporation losses.
  • Electric Handling: Over half of the internal vehicle fleet (approximately 60%) is already electric traction, reducing noise impact and CO2 emissions within its plants.

Advanced Energy Efficiency

The energy requalification of the company spaces is ensured by over 190 LED light points, allowing energy savings of approximately 74%. The choice of LED fixtures also enabled the elimination of the disposal of polluting substances.

Future Vision: Decarbonization with Hydrogen

Our bottle supplier actively participates in the European project H2GLASS-Horizon22, an EU-funded initiative to accelerate the decarbonization of the glass industry. The goal is to develop and apply the necessary technologies for the complete combustion of hydrogen in production plants, positioning itself at the forefront of the energy transition.

The choice of such a cutting-edge supplier allows us to combine the qualitative excellence of the product with the utmost respect for the environment, with a view to continuous improvement and sustainable innovation, ensuring that each of our bottles is an example of a concrete circular economy.

Sustainable Packaging: A Supply Chain Choice

The sustainability of our packaging is an integral part of our environmental responsibility. For the packaging of bottles, we rely on a partner supplier whose corporate philosophy reflects our attention to ethics and quality.

The company supplying our cartons has initiated the process to obtain the UNI/PDR 125:2022 certification, a recognition that testifies to its concrete commitment towards gender equality and inclusion, values that we share and promote.

Its commitment is further validated by an integrated Quality-Environment management system certified ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 and by a transparent approach to sustainability, demonstrated by its partnerships and certifications:

  • FSC® Certification: Guarantees that the paper comes from responsibly managed forests.
  • Comieco and GIFCO Membership: Adherence to these consortia confirms an active commitment to the virtuous cycle of recycling and recovery of paper and cardboard packaging.
  • Certified Recyclability: The cartons are distinguished by symbols attesting to their complete recyclability and, for international markets, by the RESY mark, suitable for recycling in Germany.

The Paper of Our Stories: Responsible Labels

The paper support of our labels represents the narrative wrapper of our products, the first business card. The selection of suppliers is therefore strategic. We rely on a partner who shares our environmental sensitivity and supplies material with FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certification for over 90% of the papers used, guaranteeing responsible forest management. Our goal is to implement this practice for the entirety of production by 2026, so that every one of our stories is conveyed through a support consistent with our values.

The Soul of Our Products: Highest Quality Flavours

Supply chain transparency is a key principle. For the flavours and essences used, we rely exclusively on a specialized supplier, whose portfolio of certifications represents for us a guarantee of seriousness and quality. This choice allows us to maintain high standards and support a virtuous and traceable supply chain.

Our flavour supplier holds the following high-level certifications:

  • UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 & FSSC 22000: Guarantee of an integrated management system for Quality and Food Safety of international scope.
  • Certified Organic Production: Ensures the use of ingredients obtained in respect of natural cycles and organic farming regulations.
  • Rainforest Alliance: Attests to the support for sustainable agriculture models that protect ecosystems and local communities.
  • Kosher and Halal: Certifications that demonstrate respect for rigorous ethical and religious standards, fostering inclusivity in the global market.

Short Supply Chain and Fight Against Waste: Our Territory in a Bottle

We firmly believe in the value of "genius loci", the spirit of the place. For this reason, most of the infusions we develop use products from small local agricultural realities in our region. This is a strategic choice in favour of the environment - reducing the carbon footprint linked to transport - and in support of the local economy, enhancing the custodians of our rural landscape.

  • Organic and regeneratively cultivated ingredients to preserve and enrich soil fertility.
  • Recovery of "imperfect" fruit because quality is measured in substance, actively combating food waste.

Ethical and Safe Logistics: A Shared Courier

Our attention to sustainability and ethics extends to the entire value chain, including the distribution phase. For the shipment of our goods, we use exclusively Tgroup, a logistics partner whose certifications are a guarantee of reliability, safety, and alignment with our standards.

The choice of a structured and certified courier allows us to guarantee:

  • Quality and Safety of Processes: ISO 9001:2015 (Quality) and ISO 39001 (Road Safety) certifications ensure an efficient service attentive to the safety of people and products.
  • Environmental Sustainability: The ISO 14001:2015 certification and the EcoVadis recognition testify to the partner's commitment to reducing the environmental impact of its operations.
  • Ethics and Social Responsibility: Adherence to the UN Global Compact and the SA 8000 (Human Rights) and UNI/PDR 125:2022 (Gender Equality) certifications reflect values of equity and inclusivity that we share.
  • Integrity and Legality: The Rating of Legality and the Model 231 are fundamental elements that characterize the transparency and correctness of our logistics supplier.

Future Challenges: The Pursuit of Non-Alcoholic Excellence

We look to the future with an innovative spirit. We are investing resources and expertise in the development of two new product lines:

  1. "No Alcohol" Line: An exploration of taste in its essence, to offer complex and refined beverages where the harmony of plants and spices takes centre stage, in the absence of alcohol.
  2. "Low Alcohol" Line: A contemporary reinterpretation of the great classics of Italian liqueurs. Aperitifs and bitters that preserve the traditional character, with a reduced alcohol content for more moderate and conscious consumption.

The Heart That Beats Strong: Our Social Commitment

A company is an integral part of the social fabric and must aspire to be a positive resource. Our commitment materializes in supporting organizations that share our values of solidarity, culture, and progress.

Supporters of Santobono Hospital

We support the Foundation committed to transforming the Santobono Pausilipon pediatric hospital in Naples into a facility of excellence, tailored to children. Our contribution aims to ensure access to the best medical technologies and to humane, cutting-edge care.

Partner of Palazzo Petrucci for Telethon

We are proud to stand alongside Palazzo Petrucci in its annual fundraising campaign in favour of Telethon. This partnership combines gastronomic excellence with support for scientific research, transforming solidarity into a concrete gesture for the benefit of those facing rare genetic diseases.

Royal Sites Association

We collaborate with a project dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the priceless Bourbon cultural heritage of Southern Italy. We believe that protecting historical roots does not mean living in the past, but having solid foundations on which to build a conscious future. "The heart of a community is its cultural heritage," and we intend to actively contribute to its vitality.

Culture and Awareness: Educating for Responsible Drinking

Responsibility begins with knowledge. We actively promote responsible and high-quality consumption through initiatives such as the "THE GRAN TOUR" Masterclasses. These are not mere tasting moments, but educational paths to learn how to interpret a bottle, recognize the quality of raw materials, and understand the value of provenance.

The most authentic pleasure is the one born from awareness. Drinking well represents, for us, an act of respect: towards oneself, towards others, and towards the world around us.
