The Temple Bar 18 years is a special bottling, which has received a year in a Malbec cask finish.
First, the whisky matured for 17 years in a Bourboncask, then again for more than 12 months to get a finish in an Argentine Malbec cask.
Roberto Appendino, a member of the Temple Bar, is from Argentina. He combines his passion for Irish whisky and Argentine wine in this bottling. The wine barrels come from the Bodega Bianchi, where the Malbec traube grows in the perfect climate.
The bottle and the packaging are born from the work of the famous Argentine visual artist and fileteador Alfredo Genovese, who has collaborated with companies such as Mercedes, Coca Cola and Evjan, and who has been able to create a rich and vibrant design.
