Corricella Tangerine gin is a fine gin that comes from the union of a refined London Dry Gin, produced by the oldest distillery in England, with an infusion of delicious tangerines grown in the gardens of Procida.
The procidian tangerine is a small fruit with a very thin skin but rich in essential oils, and with a pulp full of aromatic and sweet juice.
Cultivation takes place on the typical volcanic soils of the area which give the fruit peculiar organoleptic characteristics, and which for several centuries have made it perfect for making jams, marmalades, and rosoli.
The cultivation of tangerines has always been handed down from generation to generation, and often the small citrus groves represented an important part of the dowry to be given to the daughters on the occasion of the wedding.
