A blend that includes cane honey rums aged up to 20 years and sugarcane juice rums matured between 50 and 70 years, the final product is a distillate that embodies the purest essence of Ecuadorian tradition.
With maturation dating back to the early 2000s, this rum was aged in a cask known as the "Reserva de la Abuela" (Grandmother’s Reserve), a name that suggests a deep connection to family roots and authenticity in production. The result is a dark, rich, and powerful rum, like nothing ever seen before in Ecuador, captivating with its complexity and depth.
The first release of Cuatro Leyendas is inspired by a mysterious and eerie legend from the streets of Guayaquil: La Dama Tapada (The Veiled Woman). According to the legend, an enigmatic and alluring figure, taking the shape of a beautiful woman with her face concealed by a veil, lures drunken men into the darkness of the night, guiding them through lonely alleys with her sweet and irresistible fragrance. But the fate of those who follow her is far darker and more tragic than one might imagine. A tale shrouded in mystery, it has crossed centuries, continuing to hold its veil of fear and fascination.
